This project is a collaboration between University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine. The study examines the pathway for the current delivery of military hearing healthcare within the UK and the potential applications of telehealth approaches. This includes remote assessment via endoscopic pictures and video of the ears and remotely delivered hearing tests. It aims to establish whether these approaches could improve quality and speed up diagnosis and management in a cost effective way.

This study is currently recruiting military personnel.
